Chez Prometic, plus de 450 personnes travaillent à sauver des vies, un rôle un à la fois. Situé en plein cœur de la Cité de la Biotech à Laval, notre division Prometic Sciences de La Vie Inc. est en pleine ébullition puisque nous y développons en ce moment un traitement à base de protéines dérivées du plasma qui permettra à des enfants atteints d’une maladie orpheline d’avoir une nouvelle avenue vers l’espoir.

Afin de contribuer à ce projet révolutionnaire et novateur, nous sommes à la recherche d’un Gestionnaire, infrastructure TI qui guidera l’ensemble des membres de son équipe dans le développement, l’implantation et le maintien de l’infrastructure TI pour diverses entités géographiques.

Au quotidien, le Gestionnaire, infrastructure TI aura comme mandat :

• La gestion d’une équipe technique d’environ 5 personnes, incluant un superviseur, un administrateur et un ingénieur.
• L’évaluation, la conception, l’implantation et la gestion d’une infrastructure TI dans un contexte de croissance;
• L’optimisation des outils et processus en fonction des changements technologiques et des besoins de l’entreprise;
• La gestion complète du parc informatique, incluant les logiciels et équipements (hardware et software),
• L’amélioration, l’optimisation et le maintien de l’infrastructure TI, des niveaux de service et de la capacité, incluant un tableau de bord (KPIs);
• La rédaction, révision, approbation et implantation de la documentation BPx incluant les PONs, instructions de travail, qualifications (IOQs) et validations des réseaux visés;
• La résolution de tickets de niveau 3 ou d’enjeux liés à l’Infrastructure TI;
• L’embauche et la formation des nouveaux membres de l’équipe, d’un point de vue technique et pratique;
• La gestion des ressources matérielles et financières de ses équipes.

Vous êtes la personne recherchée si :

• Vous détenez un BAC dans une discipline appropriée;
• Vous avez œuvré au moins cinq (5) années dans un rôle de gestion vous ayant permis de développer votre capacité de prise de décision, votre approche en gestion de projets et votre style de leadership;
• Vous êtes un expert en infrastructure TI, incluant les réseaux et ITIL, grâce à vos dix (10) années d’expérience en services TI;
• Vous comprenez la règlementation et les requis liés aux BPx, SOX et GAMP 5 et savez clairement comment les appliquer dans votre quotidien;
• Vous êtes reconnu comme un gestionnaire inspirant et juste démontrant un haut niveau d’imputabilité;
• Vous êtes en mesure de rédiger des documents complexes en anglais;
• Vous êtes reconnus par vos pairs comme étant un partenaire avec une approche inclusive et savez proposer des solutions novatrices permettant de répondre aux besoins de chaque collaborateur.

IT Manager, Infrastructure

At Prometic, over 450 people work at saving lives, one role at a time. Located at the heart of the Cité de la Biotech in Laval, our Prometic Life Sciences Inc. division is blooming as we are currently developing a treatment for orphan diseases affecting children, made of plasma-derived proteins. Our treatment will allow these children to have a new pathway to hope.

To contribute to this revolutionary and innovative project, we are looking for an IT Infrastructure Manager to guide our technical team in designing, implementing and maintaining IT infrastructure for multiple geographical entities.

The IT Infrastructure Manager will contribute to the team by:

• Managing and guiding a team of 5 individuals, including a supervisor, an engineer and an administrator.
• Evaluating, designing, implementing and managing the IT infrastructure in a context of changes, evolution and growth;
• Optimizing tools and processes as technology and business needs evolve;
• Managing the entire IT infrastructure, including networks, hardware and software;
• Improving, optimizing and maintaining IT infrastructure, service levels and capacity, including KPIs;
• Authoring, reviewing, approving and implementing GxP documentation, including SOPs, work instructions, IOQs and validation;
• Resolving Tier 3 and Infrastructure tickets;
• Hiring and training new team members, as well as providing continued training of team members from a technical and a compliance standpoint;
• Managing the material and financial resources of his/her respective teams.

You are the right person for this role because:

• You hold a bachelor’s degree in an appropriate field;
• You have at least five (5) years of experience in a management role during which you developed you decision-making abilities, your project management approach as well as your leadership style;
• You became an expert of IT infrastructure, including networks and ITIL, during your ten (10) years spent in hands-on IT services;
• You understand current GxP, SOX and GAMP 5 requirements and regulations, and clearly know how to apply them in your daily activities;
• You are known by your team to be an inspiring and fair leader who demonstrates high accountability;
• You can fluently communicate in French;
• Your peers know you as a real partner with a collaborative approach and you offer innovative solutions that answer each stakeholder’s need.
