Situé en plein cœur de la Cité de la Biotech à Laval, notre division Prometic Bioproduction Inc. est en pleine ébullition puisque nous y développons en ce moment un traitement à base de protéines dérivées du plasma qui permettra à des enfants atteints d’une maladie orpheline d’avoir une nouvelle avenue vers l’espoir.

Afin de contribuer à ce projet révolutionnaire et novateur, nous sommes à la recherche d’un Technicien, gestion au matériel, qui assurera le maintien, la juste circulation et la manutention du matériel au sein de la division.

Au quotidien, le Technicien, gestion du matériel aura comme mandat :

1. La réception et l’expédition de tout matériel et équipement au sein d’un entrepôt régi par les règles de BPF et ce, tant au niveau local qu’international;
2. L’entreposage et la manutention de l’ensemble du matériel requis pour la fabrication, en fonction des besoins définis par l’horaire de production;
3. La disposition conforme des déchets de fabrication, incluant les déchets biomédicaux;
4. La complétion rigoureuse de l’ensemble de la documentation (papier et informatique) relative à la gestion du matériel, notamment les documents douaniers, numéros de lot, bons de livraison, réquisitions de matériel, etc.;
5. La conduite d’un véhicule afin de livrer ou de récupérer du matériel entre nos divers sites.

Vous êtes la personne recherchée si :

1. Vous détenez un DES ou une autre formation dans une discipline appropriée;
2. Vous aimez le travail physique et maîtrisez les principes sécuritaires de manipulation de charges;
3. Vous êtes un ambassadeur de la gestion d’inventaire rigoureuse, que ce soit au niveau de la documentation ou des entrées informatiques, en raison de vos deux (2) années d’expérience dans un rôle similaire au sein d’une entreprise réglementée (ISO, BPF, etc.);
4. Vous êtes reconnu comme un individu polyvalent et avez un intérêt pour les principes de gestion d’inventaire;
5. Vous possédez un permis de conduire classe 5;
6. Vous pouvez communiquer aisément en français et en anglais.

Material Management Technician

At Prometic, over 450 people work at saving lives, one role at a time. Located at the heart of the Cité de la Biotech in Laval, our Prometic Bioproduction Inc. division is blooming as we are currently developing a treatment for orphan diseases affecting children, made of plasma-derived proteins. Our treatment will allow these children to have a new pathway to hope.

To contribute to this revolutionary and innovative project, we are looking for a Material Manager Technician who will ensure the handling, workflow and control of all material within the division.

The Material Management Technician will contribute to the team by:

1. Receiving and shipping locally and internationally all material and equipment within a GMP-regulated warehouse;
2. Storing and handling all material required for the manufacturing process, based on the production schedule;
3. Disposing of any manufacturing waste according to best practices, including biomedical waste;
4. Completing all documentation related to material management, including custom forms, batch identification, waybills, packing slips, etc. with the utmost rigor;
5. Driving the company truck when delivering or picking material between sites.

You are the right person for this role because:

1. You hold a high school diploma or have a certification in a related field;
2. You enjoy physical work and fully apply safety protocols and techniques when handling weight;
3. You are an ambassador of accurate inventory management, including proper documentation and data entry, since you have worked at least two (2) years in a similar role within a highly-regulated company (ISO, GMP, etc.);
4. Your peers and manager describe you as versatile and you have a strong interest for inventory control principles;
5. You have a valid driver’s license (class 5);
6. You can easily communicate in French and English.
