Chez Prometic, près 300 personnes travaillent à sauver des vies, un rôle un à la fois. Situé en plein coeur de la Cité de la Biotech à Laval, notre division Prometic Bioproduction Inc. est en pleine ébullition puisque nous y développons en ce moment un traitement à base de protéines dérivées du plasma qui permettra à des enfants atteints d’une maladie orpheline d’avoir une nouvelle avenue vers l’espoir.

Afin de contribuer à ce projet révolutionnaire et novateur, nous sommes à la recherche d’un Technicien de production afin de participer à la fabrication de ce produit exceptionnel.

Au quotidien, le Technicien de production aura comme mandat :
• La préparation de solutions tampons utilisées lors du procédé de fabrication;
• La réalisation de procédés de séparation et de purification de protéines plasmatiques via des technologies de chromatographie et de filtration;
• Le nettoyage d’équipements utilisés dans le processus de fabrication;
• La complétion adéquate de toute documentation liée aux activités réalisées conformément aux BPFs;
• La participation aux projets spéciaux (essais, validations, etc.).

Vous êtes la personne recherchée si :
• Vous détenez un DEC en production pharmaceutique ou dans une autre discipline appropriée;
• Vous avez oeuvré au moins deux (2) années dans un rôle similaire au sein d’une entreprise régie par les BPF;
• Vous êtes disponible tant pour les quarts de jour, soir et nuit, comme votre horaire variera en fonction du cycle de production;
• Vous êtes en mesure de lire des documents complexes en anglais;
• Vous êtes à l’aise à travailler avec du plasma, ce qui implique le port d’un habit aseptique complet;
• Vous êtes une personne d’équipe, aimant apprendre et souhaitant contribuer à un projet plus grand que nature.

Production Technician

At Prometic, around 300 people work at saving lives, one role at a time. Located at the heart of the Cité de la Biotech in Laval, our Prometic Bioproduction Inc. division is blooming as we are currently developing a treatment for orphan diseases affecting children, made of plasma-derived proteins. Our treatment will allow these children to have a new pathway to hope.
To contribute to this revolutionary and innovative project, we are looking for a Production Technician to participate in the manufacturing of this exceptional product.

The Production Technician will contribute to the team by:
• Preparing buffer solutions used in the manufacturing process;
• Completing separation and purification processes of plasma proteins through chromatography and filtration technologies;
• Cleaning equipment used in the manufacturing process;
• Completing all documentation related to performed activities according to GMP;
• Participating to special projects (validation runs, production trials, etc.)

You are the right person for this role because:
• You hold a college degree in Pharmaceutical Production Technology or in a related field;
• You have at least two (2) years of experience in a similar role within GMP company;
• You are available for day, evening and night shifts, as your schedule can vary according to the manufacturing cycle;
• You can communicate in French;
• You are comfortable working with plasma and therefore, working fully gowned;
• You are a team player, you love to learn and you wish to contribute to a project that’s bigger than yourself.
